Sonny Lallerstedt

Sonny began playing guitar at age five. At age ten, he took lessons from Jimmy Atkins (Chet Atkins nephew) for approximately 1 1/2 years and played in rock bands though high school.  On August 3rd, 1971 , he committed his life to Jesus and started playing in contemporary Christian bands (Dove from 1972 – 1973, Pat Terry Group 1974 – 1980) in a touring capacity until May of 1980.

"During the Pat Terry Group, I started Twelve Oaks Recording Studio (1978 – 1993) as a co– owner, and as an engineer / producer / guitarist. During that time, the studio produced over 200 custom and label projects. On August 1st of 1993, I left Twelve Oaks and started to lead a contemporary worship at Orange Hill Church . During that time I also started playing more studio dates of different sorts. As of September 13th, 1998 , I started at North Metro Church in Marietta , GA as their worship leader while the Lord continues to open up more opportunities in the studio and live situations."
